This is an invitation to wander through the sacred pages of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass, where indigenous wisdom and botanical science weave together profound lessons for everyday life. I pray that this space allows you to reconnect with nature and through that connection, connect more deeply with yourself. Together we will explore themes surrounding gifts, reciprocity, gratitude, and being in right relationship with mother earth. Each month, we will gather via Zoom to discuss our reflections, supported by an ongoing community chat for those quiet moments when a passage speaks directly to you. There are also optional group reading sessions for those who wish to experience the text together, word by word. If you’re ready to open your heart to the tender and sacred teachings of this book, there’s a place here for you.
What to Expect: A Space for Reflection and Integration
Our virtual gatherings are designed as a sanctuary where we can pause, reflect, and integrate the many lessons and raindrops of wisdom, found in Robin Wall Kimmerer’s text. Each session is a shared journey from reading to living the words.
When we gather, we will begin with grounding moments, gently inviting you to sink into your body and arrive fully present. From this place, we move into a guided yet open discussion. This is a safer space to share the thoughts, emotions, and quiet realizations that arose as you turned each page. There are no right or wrong answers here, only authentic sharing.
We will close our time together with a reflection to help you weave that month’s themes back into your daily life. Whether it’s a short meditation, a writing prompt, or a moment of silence, this closing ritual ensures the wisdom we explore doesn’t stay on the screen, but takes root in your heart and actions.
